THREE MORE ASHTON INDUSTRIAL FULLY AUTOMATIC
ARRISSING LINES FOR UAE AND EGYPT

Following installation of their high performance
fully automatic arrissing line at F.A.Glass in Ras Al Khaimah,
Ashton Industrial report successful contracts from two more prestige
glass companies in the UAE, both to be commissioned within the next
half year.
Ashton lines work horizontally, processing randomly
sized glass at high speed direct from the breakout table.
In Egypt, Ashton Industrial recently installed a 2.5m
x 5m line for leading glass processor Egybel International.
Now they have booked a new order from the very
prestigious organisation of Nile Aluminium and Metals Company "AluNile",
the latest SEAMMAXX-PRO fully automatic arrissing line for 2.5m x 4m
which will directly link all their horizontal processes from cutting
through arrissing, washing to final tempering.
Two of the lines mentioned have been fitted with
additional grinding heads which smooth the glass edge at the same
time the upper and lower arriss are being applied, resulting in a
finish very similar to diamond wheel pencil edging. There is no
cycle time penalty, and totally mixed glass sizes are presented to
the machine from breakout: SEAMMAXX-PRO finds the glass sizes fully
automatically, there is no need for pre-programming.
